Privacy Policy For Zipper Lock Screen
Privacy Policy – Zipper Lock Screen
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ALLURE FURNISH (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Android app Zipper Lock Screen (also called "ZipperLock", package name zipperlock.lockscreen.screenlock.ziploc_screen) (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Summary
- Your photos, themes, PIN and settings stay on your phone. We do not upload them to our servers.
- The App shows ads through Google AdMob and its partner ad networks. They may collect device information and the advertising ID, as explained below. Ads are never shown on the lock screen.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
- We use Google services (such as Firebase) to understand app usage, fix crashes, update content and send optional notifications.
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
2. Information that stays on your device
The following is created and stored only on your device, inside the App's private storage. We do not collect it and cannot see it:
- Photos you choose for your lock screen, and any edited versions (crop, zoom, blur, brightness).
- "Clock behind me" (AI depth effect): the App uses Google ML Kit to find the person in a photo you choose. This runs entirely on your device. The photo is not sent to us or to Google. Google Play services may download the ML Kit model to your device.
- Your themes (wallpaper, zipper, pull, sound and other choices) and the themes you save in "My Themes".
- Your ZipperLock PIN and security question answer. These are stored in a secure, one-way hashed (scrambled) form, so they cannot be read back, even by us.
- Your settings, such as lock mode, clock style, sound, vibration and language.
- Simple counters used to make the App work, such as how many times you applied a theme (for example, to decide when to ask for a review or when to show an ad).
When you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is deleted from your device.
3. Permissions and why we use them
- Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): to show the zipper lock screen when you turn on your screen.
- Foreground service and run at start-up (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, WAKE_LOCK): to keep the lock working in the background and after your phone restarts.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to show the "Zipper lock is on" status, warnings if the lock stops working, and optional messages about new themes.
- Notification access (optional): used only to show music controls (play, pause, skip) on the lock screen. The App does not read, store or send the content of your notifications.
- Usage access (only on some phones, such as Infinix, Tecno and itel): these phones stop background apps. Usage access lets the phone treat ZipperLock as a lock app so it is not stopped. The App does not read or collect which apps you use or for how long.
- Ignore battery optimisation (optional): so your phone does not turn off the lock to save battery.
- Set wallpaper (optional): only when you choose to set a ZipperLock wallpaper.
- Photos: the App uses the Android photo picker. It only gets the photos you pick, not your whole gallery.
- Vibrate: for vibration when you unzip.
- Internet and network state: to load ads, download new themes and content, process purchases, and send crash reports and usage statistics.
- Advertising ID (AD_ID): used by ad partners, as explained in section 4.
- Billing (Google Play Billing): to let you buy Premium.
4. Advertising
The free version of the App shows ads (banner, native, full-screen, app-open and rewarded ads). Ads are never shown on the lock screen. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may also show ads from other ad networks through "mediation" (for example Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Liftoff/Vungle, Mintegral, Pangle, InMobi or others that Google lists as certified mediation partners).
These ad providers may automatically collect information such as:
- your device's advertising ID, device model, operating system, language and screen size;
- your IP address and approximate (city- or country-level) location based on it;
- app and ad interactions (which ads were shown or tapped);
- crash and performance information about ads.
They use this to show ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud and, where allowed, show personalised ads.
Your choices:
- In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and other places where required, the App asks for your consent using Google's consent tool before personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Privacy options in the App.
- Where required by US state privacy laws, you can opt out of personalised advertising in the same way.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Buying Premium removes ads from the App.

5. Analytics, crash reports and app services
We use Google services to keep the App working well and to improve it. They may collect device and usage information as described:
- Google Analytics for Firebase: how the App is used (for example screens opened, themes applied, buttons tapped, purchases started), device model, OS version, language, country and an app-instance ID. We use this to improve the App. It is not used to identify you personally.
- Firebase Crashlytics: if the App crashes, a crash report with device and App state information, to help us fix the problem.
- Firebase Remote Config: to change App settings remotely (for example how often ads appear, or which themes are new) without an update.
- Firebase Cloud Storage: to download new themes, wallpapers and content to your device.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: to send optional notifications (for example about new themes). This uses a device token. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
- Google Play In-App Review: to show the Google Play rating window. Your review is handled by Google Play.
Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Firebase privacy information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
6. Purchases
Premium subscriptions (for example weekly and monthly) and one-time purchases (for example lifetime Premium) are processed by Google Play. Google handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We only receive information needed to confirm your purchase (such as the product, purchase status, purchase time and a purchase token). We do not receive your name, card number or billing address. Your Premium status is stored on your device so the App can unlock Premium features.
7. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write (and any files you attach). We use this only to reply to you and to improve the App, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
8. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information is shared only:
- with the service providers named above (Google, AdMob and its ad partners, Firebase), who process it to provide their services;
- if required by law, court order or a government request;
- to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or us;
- as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Under some US state laws, using ads that are personalised by third parties may count as "sharing" or "selling" data. You can opt out as explained in section 4.
9. Data retention and deletion
- Data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
- Analytics and crash data are kept by Google for limited periods (for example, up to 14 months for analytics) and then deleted or anonymised.
- Ad data is kept by ad partners under their own policies.
- To ask us to delete any data we may hold about you (for example support emails), email us at the address below. You can also reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
10. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as storing your PIN only in hashed form and keeping your photos and settings in the App's private storage. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. The ZipperLock PIN is a convenience lock; for the strongest protection we recommend keeping your phone's own screen lock (PIN, pattern or fingerprint) turned on and using the "Zipper + my phone lock" mode.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. They use safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, UK law, or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or limit some processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of personalised advertising. To use these rights, change your choices in the App (Settings → Privacy options) or email us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
14. Third-party links
Ads and links in the App may take you to websites or apps that we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes (for example when we add new features or services). We will post the new version on this page and change the "Effective date". If the changes are important, we may also tell you in the App.
